Reason #2: A Matching Pair

To the untrained eye, this may simply look like a pair of Nike running shoes. But, if you had been living at our house for the past seven weeks, you would know that it is much more than that. You see, it's a pair of running shoes. That's right. A PAIR. For the past seven weeks, when Michael would come home, there would only be one shoe left on the rug by the front door. That was because his other foot was strapped into a walking boot as a result of his torn, then repaired, then healing, achilles tendon. But on Wednesday, he got to say "adios" to his walking boot and is now back to wearing a matching pair. A big day, indeed!
