Our family fun started the weekend of the fourth of July (although the Floridians were not able to join us until just after the fourth). The weather was insanely beautiful and as such, we enjoyed much time out on the water. A favorite new spot on the lake this summer is "the cliffs". They are just across the lake from Pake and Beppe's place and consist of some sandstone cliff/walls that have a nice smooth, sandy bottom running right in front of a portion of them. It is a popular place to park/lodge your boat and swim. Along with that are the actual cliffs - a place for thrill seekers to take a 30-40 foot plunge into the lake (some in our group did do this activity though I did not have my camera along on that particular outing).
