The Christmas Puzzle

We'll continue with more Christmas merriment (disclaimer: this post is long on detail but short on visuals).....

The weekend immediately following T's program at school proved to be a busy one as we helped the youth of our church host their annual Christmas Banquet for our congregation. It was a successful and joyous Saturday evening. Unfortunately, we were so busy preparing, serving and cleaning up, that I have no photos of the event. Thanks so much to Pake and Beppe for being on T and Z patrol before, during and after the dinner.

On Sunday morning, our whole family participated in the Sunday School Christmas program which was entitled, "The Christmas Puzzle". This was Z's first program and she did great! We had the cutest video of her singing on stage but alas, someone who shall remain anonymous accidentally deleted the video - bummer. My part in the program entailed the corralling and guiding of my little 2 and 3 year old kiddos - they did super! T's class also sang two songs at the beginning of the program (with Z's class) and then he got to continue on with the show in which he played the part of a shepherd. He did a great job, too! I would love to show you the video, but I think I have already covered that. Finally, not to be left out, Michael also was in the program as he and the youth group were the choir for the bulk of the actual musical. He also did a great job (and maybe is a little OK with the fact that we do not have it on video)! All this to say that the only proof I have of the day are a few pictures that we took after the big show once we got home - sigh. Oh well, the memory will live on in our hearts and minds......
