FunFlix Friday: Bring On The Big Boys

So I know this is a bit late - but better late than never, right? I needed to wait until last evening to capture this week's flick because the star of the show did not arrive at our house until last night. Well, one of the stars, I guess. T is the first star. But the second main player in this week's movie was delivered by T's Rockin' Dad last night after his last track meet of the season. What is it you might ask? Well, take a peek for yourself!

On loan to T for the summer, courtesy of the Scott Highlands Middle School band department, is this REAL drum set. Its home will be our garage and if last night is any indication, T will be spending a great deal of time jammin' out there this summer. He was up at 7:00 AM this morning (very atypical for our late sleeper), asking to play the drums (and play with his Pake and Beppe who are visiting for the weekend). I told him he would need to wait a few hours in order to be respectful of our neighbors and their sleep :) Needless to say, this little drummer boy is in heaven and the words on his t-shirt accurately depict how he feels about his Daddy for securing this sweet set for him for the summer.
