So after we transformed our guest room into T's new space, we then converted his old room into a nursery once again - however, this time it is a bit more
girly.....well, let's be honest. It's a LOT more
girly. I kept the existing green/white/red stripe that I had painted for T but painted over the blue walls with the ever popular PINK. Here's a view from the doorway.

The rug and curtains were two of the purchases that T and I made on our previously mentioned IKEA outing. Then here's the view from the opposite corner, taken from the doorway of the walk-in closet.

Here's a peek at the room from the corner by the crib. We took the
armoire that had been in the guest room and just moved it up into the nursery for some added storage.

And here's a look from the other corner.

Here's a closer look at the little bookshelf that T and I also found at
IKEA. The pink and purple basketball on the second shelf was T and Michael's first purchase for the new little lady soon after we found out she was a girl.

And here's a closer look at the dresser/changing table. With the exception of one final detail, the room is pretty much complete. You might notice a large empty space under the shelf in the picture below. This vacant spot is awaiting some wooden letters that will spell out the name of our new little gal. The letters are purple with white polka dots and they have already been ordered........you'll have to wait a bit longer to find out exactly which letters were purchased!

New Space #2: Nearly Complete but currently vacant!

CUTE, CUTE, CUTE, - CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THE ROOMS, GIVE T A HUG AND FINALLY MEET LITTLE MISS LEVANG WHEN SHE ARRIVES. WON'T BE LONG - LOVE G&G
Ahh... I never got to use that wonderful color!
The room looks wonderful.
I can't wait to see what letters you purchased. Perhaps you should just reveal the letters in random form and see what we come up with?
Both rooms look so great! I really like the big star on your wall, T. And we're very curious to see what name goes up in Little Lady Levang's pink room! (I like the picture of G1 on the shelf - it's one of my favorites :0)
Cuteness! Can we hire you? I don't think we can afford the airfare, though. I put some nursery pics on our blog, but it doesn't QUITE look like that!
S, you are GOOD! I am in awe of your decorating skills. I can't wait to meet your newest family member!
Cute! You have such great taste. I agree with Candis on giving us the letters to see what we can come up with for a name! :)
Well done Stacy! Both rooms look amazing, can't wait to see them this weekend!!! Think you could coordinate Miss Levang's arrival with my visit? HaHa! See you soon!
The rooms look absolutely wonderful!! I think you should at least tell us how many letters you have ordered!
Also, I had to laugh at myself as I read "Miss Levang" in your posting and in the comments because I still find myself thinking MY name is Miss Levang!!!(Many of my students still call me by that name!) I'm delighted and totally excited to have a niece who will carry it on!!!
Wow! Nice job!
You should start advertising your services - people would pay you BIG money to do that! :)
Can't wait to hear about Little Miss LeVang!
Hope you are feeling healthy and well.
