Memorial Day '08

In honor of this holiday weekend, we finally hung T's "big USA" outside. He was quite excited and has thoroughly enjoyed watching it blow in the wind outside his very own kitchen window.Pake and Beppe were here for the grand flag raising which made it all the more memorable. Pake assisted T who then assisted Michael in placing the flag in its holder.I also took some video of T the day that he finally got his "big USA". I thought I would share it with all of you on this day when we honor those who have served our country to the utmost. This little man really loves his USA!!!

A couple of video notes: 1) For most of the movie, T won't look at the camera because he is too busy watching his reflection with the flag in the TV screen. 2) Part of T's information about the flag (the part about flying above this wondrous land saying make your dreams come true) comes from one of his favorite story books, "Meet Our Flag Old Glory".
