Baby Bonanza

It seems we have a large number of friends (9 to be exact) who have jumped on the baby bandwagon with us and are in the waiting phase of expanding their families. Some are expecting their first while others are adding a second or even third addition to their family. The first little one of the bunch is scheduled to arrive at the end of June with the last one due in December. This past weekend, I had the great privilege of attending baby showers for two of these dear friends. The first was on Saturday for Sara Berge and although I brought my camera to the grand event, I apparently was too engaged in all of the activities and neglected to take a photo. John and Sara's new little man (their first) will kick off the great baby boom. The second shower occurred on Sunday and was given in honor of my sweet college friend, Casey Spark. She and her husband are also expecting a son (their first child) and it was a great joy to be able to shower her with gifts. Baby Spark is due to make his appearance at the end of July, just a few weeks before our little girl is due. There has already been talk of an arranged marriage :) I did manage to get a photo of Casey and I, side by side - tummy by tummy.
