Through The Woods

On Saturday, my Daddy, Mommy and I decided to take Pake and Beppe out for a little adventure. It was a beautiful day, so we grabbed our snowshoes and ventured to one of our favorite outdoor spots. After strapping on our snowshoes and grabbing our trekking poles, we were off. The plan was for me to ride in the backpack, but I wanted to try out some trekking of my own and my accompanying party kindly obliged. It was my Beppe's first time snowshoeing so I gave her some pointers and she was set. She did a great job!We walked up hills and down hills that wound through trees covered in snow.....lots of snow! My Daddy showed me one of his favorite tricks. He knocked snow down from way up high in the trees using his poles. The result was a waterfall of snow. Well, I wanted a piece of the action so my Pake kindly agreed to help me. First, he got his poles ready for me.Then he lifted me way high so I could reach the branches. SUCCESS!!!After all of my walking and snow knocking, I agreed to take a ride on my Daddy's back so that we could try out some deeper snow. We loaded me in the pack and away we went.As much fun as I had walking, it was also great to just kick back and let my Daddy do all the work. He's a great chauffeur. At the end of the morning, we all agreed that it was time well spent, not to mention some good exercise. So much so, that we spent the rest of our time with Pake and Beppe relaxing! Thanks for coming to my house, Pake and Beppe! It was great to see you! I love you!

Mom told me you took them snow shoeing but didn't believe it until I saw the pic, haha. The one of her and dad is a keeper!
