Hey people! T here wishing you a Happy 2008! Hope your first day of the new year has been a good one. In my last entry, I told you that my Pake and Beppe were coming for a visit to have a little bit belated Christmas celebration with me and my parents. Well, they came and we had a ton of fun and now they've gone back to IL so I thought I would fill you in on some of the great things we did together.
First off, to my great delight, my Pake and Beppe came bearing gifts. So, Friday morning we got right down to business and opened up the packages. They were so good to me! I received some new bath toys, an awesome race track and a puzzle that actually talks to me.
I also got a new ornament which I promptly hung on the little tree in my bedroom.
Then, for the grand finale, there was a box that was larger than me! And in all honesty, I actually opened this big gift first. I just could not rip off the wrapping paper fast enough. I had to see what was inside!
Once the presesnt was unwrapped, I still wasn't quite sure what the gift was. There were so many pieces inside the box.
I guess you could say this was one of those presents that has "some assembly required". But I was totally down with that! I helped my Pake and Daddy out with all of the screws.
I'm pretty sure they couldn't have done it without me. And to my great delight, when all was said and done and the dust settled, I had myself a brand spanking new train table!!!
It is totally awesome and I have already had lots of great playtime with it! Thanks, Pake and Beppe, for all of the fun gifts you gave to me!
