A Not So Silent Night

Because we would be heading to Grandpa and Grandma's house in FF for Christmas, Mommy, Daddy and I had our own little Christmas on Saturday night. First I played my favorite Christmas song to set the mood.



Then, Mommy read the story of the night when Baby Jesus was born. Good story! After that, we lit a candle and sang, "Happy Birthday" to Jesus. We didn't think he would mind that it was a few days early. After the singing came the presents. Wow - did I get a great bunch of gifts. Some of my favorites included an amazing star maker from Uncle C, Auntie A, and cousins G1 and G2 and some rockin' drums for the bathtub from my Auntie E.But I must say, the gift that took the cake, the one I just could not believe was really mine, the one that caused me to really rock out, was......
MY VERY OWN DRUM SET!!! My parents quickly realized that I would need some ear protection for my new toy so I also received my very own headset. Merry Christmas to ME!!
