IOWA Classic

A couple of weekends ago, we ventured down south to the great state of IA to celebrate the marriage of one of M's cousins. We arrived late Friday night after packing the whole Levang clan (minus Uncle B) into two minivans. Before the big event on Saturday, the boys enjoyed some time outside at GiGi's house. They played a little football, and took the riding lawn mower out for a spin.Later that afternoon, it was time for the big shibang. The wedding was beautiful and the reception was a great mixture of tasty food and fun. T really whooped it up on the dance floor. He learned the chicken dance, and even pulled out his signature dance move. That same evening, we also were able to spend a bit of time at another of M's cousin's houses which just happens to be the home of four adorable little boys (ages 6 and under) and their very hospitable parents. T enjoyed checking out all of the "new" toys. After a birthday breakfast celebration on Sunday morning, the gang loaded back up into the minivans and headed home. T is pretty good about traveling and of course, found a way to drum even in the car.Yes, the drumsticks really were in between his toes!On the way home, we took advantage of the beautifully mild weather and made a stop at the old Levang farmstead. The three little boys enjoyed the opportunity to romp around in the grass.Little N found the tall grass particularly fun to tromp around in.T challenged Grandma to a race, enjoyed exploring the old barn, and even stopped to pose for a picture in the prairie grasses. All in all, it was a FABULOUS weekend!! Here's to the great state of IOWA!!

Wow! You sure make Iowa sound exciting! Maybe we should take a trip to the Levang farm for some fun! Sounds like you guys have been up to a lot of fun stuff! Who does T get his dance moves from?
