100 days
Friday marked T's 100th day in kindergarten! Oh, the anticipation for this grand day has been growing ever since the February calendar came home. Each day I get an update of how many days of school there have been and since he reached the "90" mark, T could hardly contain his excitement. When Thursday rolled around, he had to decide what he wanted to bring 100 of in his backpack the next day. He settled on Legos and carefully counted out 100 colorful and very different pieces to put in his Ziploc. When Z and I picked him up that day, T said he had lots of fun celebrating being 100 days smarter - and then asked if this meant he was ready for first grade! I told him the count would keep growing until around 174 and then it would mean he was ready for first grade. I have a feeling that day is going to come much more quickly than I think! Happy 100 days, T! You are doing awesome!
