Z is THREE!

Today we celebrate this sweet girl!

She came to us like this three years ago.
One year later, she was full of smiles.
And two years later, her quest as princess had begun.

Another year down the road and she still loves, loves, loves all things princess.  Here's a look at how she spent her special day turning three.

She opened some gifts (with the welcomed help of her big brother).

We then ate a birthday lunch at the restaurant of her choosing.  After much deliberation, she chose The Rainforest Cafe.
Lunch was followed by a stop at Build-A-Bear where Zoe had her first experience at creating her own stuffed animal. She selected a pink-daisied bunny which she then dressed up as a ballerina. Yep - she's girly :). Pink bunny in tow, we then headed to the carousel for a little ride.
Following our spin, we headed back home for some cake and ice cream.

Z took a moment to contemplate life as a newly turned three-year-old.
We love you, Z!  We thank God for you each day and love the LIFE that you bring to our family!  May you learn to follow Him more and more and may your heart be captured by Jesus!

Happy Birthday, Zoe!! I can't believe you are 3 and my guy is soon to follow. It looks like you had a FABULOUS birthday. So glad we got to spend some time with you earlier in the summer. I wish it could happen more often!
