Another "Last"

Today was one of those "lasts" that was so bittersweet. You see, for the past 5 1/2 and 3 1/2 years respectively, while I have worked part-time, T and Z have spent many of their Tuesdays and Wednesdays at Miss Tricia's house. But with the end of the 2010-2011 school year also comes the end of their time with her. It was a bittersweet "last" because they have LOVED going to Mr. Tom, Miss Tricia and Piper's house. They have so enjoyed playing with their pals Piper, Nathan and Madison. And of recent, they have become quite enamored with Miss Chelsea, who is currently living with the Ryan clan. Saying good-bye to all these things has definitely resulted in some tears shed the past few days. However, the reason behind the parting is the "sweet" in all of this, for our precious friends are embarking on new adventures in a new home a bit down the trail from us (about 30 minutes) and their family of three will become four in October. Both are exciting new adventures! Yet we will miss having them a few short blocks away and we will miss our Tuesday and Wednesday visits. Thus, bittersweet pretty much sums up today :). Miss Tricia, thanks so much for taking such precious care of our precious gifts. We could not have entrusted them so confidently to anyone else. Thanks for all of the hugs and kisses you gave and received. Thanks for all of the tears, noses and bottoms you wiped. Thanks for all of the meals you prepared and the stories you read. And most of all, thanks for loving T and Z like they are your own. We have been blessed by you!

Such cute pictures! I'm sure it was hard to have that come to an end. Can't wait to hear about the new baby, Miss Tricia!

Ok....I'm bawling. Miss Tricia rocks and I'm so thrilled your precious little ones had the blessing of the previous years spent with her, TR1, TR3, Stewart, and Sam.
