Final Days of First Grade

T had an awesome first grade year, thanks in large part to his amazing teacher, Mrs. Tournat.
She created such an awesome community in her classroom - he grew so much and had a ton of fun in the process!  We are so thankful for her!  His last few weeks of school were busy.  A couple of the highlights included the first grade field trip to the MN Zoo.  I was able to chaperone and got to spend the day with T and two of his classmates.
It was fun!
And another highlight was the first grade talent show, from which T was selected to play in the all-school talent show on the final day of school.  He drummed and did super!  So fun to watch him play in front of the entire student body - just a bit over 800 kids!
And here is T on his last day of first grade with Mrs. Tournat.  So blessed by her and so proud of him!
