Wacky Weathered Spring

To say that we had a weird weather spring this year is a drastic understatement.  We went from snowpants to shorts in less than a week's span of time on more than one occasion.  It is definitely a spring that we will not soon forget (though we might want to)!

Here's a picture of some poor birds scrounging for berries from a tree in our front yard in late April.

 

And here's a picture of the kiddos enjoying lunch on our deck just five days later.  CRAZY!

And then, a little over a week later at the beginning of MAY, here they are again playing in the snow out at the lake - incidentally this was the day that Pake and Beppe's dock was scheduled to go in the water.  Needless to say, it did not.
