Mt. Levang

Compared to the rest of our state, we don't have a ton of snow around here.  There's enough to tromp around in and when we get a little burst of the fluffy stuff, we are able to build snowmen and other frozen creations.  But the other day, Michael decided that he needed to spice things up a bit.  So, he took our snow blower "out back" and proceeded to blow the snow in a circle so as to create our own little backyard mountain.  This has brought a whole new element of fun to our outside play.  It's a sledding hill (albeit a little one), a fort, a battle field, a lookout tower, a climbing wall, a launching pad....the list goes on.  I took some pictures the first day that our mountain came to be.  Take a peek!

Little B and I had a fun time watching them play from our living room window.
And they even sent me a special message.
We are trying to make the most of winter...but I won't lie, we are starting to itch for spring.

Oh, the hours of fun in the snow. Loved catching up on your blog this morning. B is getting so big! What a cutie. Hope you're doing well and that signs of spring are around the corner!
