we took a day off from the parks and crowds and hung out at our resort. It was a great break from the action. Here's another peek of our savannah view from our balcony.
Earlier in the morning, T and Michael hit up the sports complex at the resort to shoot some hoops while Pake, Z and I explored around the resort and hit up the playground (Beppe was in the gift shops!). Here's a look at the back of a portion of the resort (notice a little Z posing in the pic).
There was a huge firepit in this area with really cool rocking chairs all around it. Z really liked rocking in these chairs.
And we took this pic in the same area for Auntie Erin whose favorite flower is the hibiscus.
By about 11:00, we were at the pool and spent the rest of the afternoon playing, splashing and enjoying the sunshine!
Our resort had an awesome pool area, with a large splash area/water playground that the kids (and grown-ups) really enjoyed.
The water cannons were a definite favorite.
We finished off the day with dinner at the T-Rex Cafe and shopping, both at Downtown Disney. It was the perfect break from the really big crowds and we were all geared up for Day #5!
