If you live in our neighborhood you have. We moved T's drums to the garage for the summer and he puts on daily performances for the block and beyond. We have been trying to figure out what to do with T's passion for the drums. I (M) have little expertise to share with him in the world of drums and rhythm so we decided to start him in some pseudo lessons. At the end of the school year I asked one of my middle school students who is also a passionate drummer if he would mind coming by during the summer and drumming with T. We've done it twice so far this summer and it has been great. There are even moments where I can't tell which of them is drumming. Here is a short sampling of T on the sticks.
