Date Night

T and I went on a date tonight. Our community's summer theater program is putting on The Music Man this month and because T has become fond of the movie version that we borrow from the library every so often, I thought it would be fun to bring him to a live production tonight. He was quite excited. The drive to the theater could hardly go fast enough for him. When we got there, I was a bit nervous because the program said the first half would be 75 minutes in duration, followed by a 15 minute intermission and then a 50-minute second half. The show started at 7:30 which put us to 10:00 by the time the show ended. I wasn't sure T would last that long or that late but he did and he did it well. He told me that he had "a really fun time", was quite intrigued by the set changes and the orchestra pit and shared that his favorite scenes were the train ride at the beginning and Shipoopie :) Thanks for a great date night, T! I had a really fun time, too!
