On the Sunday of Labor Day Weekend, friends and family got together to celebrate T's fourth birthday. Because his birthday party weekend typically coincides with a trip to the State Fair, we decided that this year's theme would be a carnival/fair festivity - I liked to call it the "Great Titus Get Together". The boys enjoyed some games in the backyard - followed by some food - which was then followed by cake and ice cream - (I got this Ferris Wheel cake idea off of the Parents Magazine website).
Then, per T's request, we had another pinata like last year.Pake and Z watched from the sidelines. We concluded the evening with gifts.(In the background of the above photo, you can see a bit of the treat bags that T gave to his guests. When we were at the fair the day before, I told everyone to keep their eyes out for silly things on a stick or goofy hats that you often find for free at the fair. We struck gold when we found these Joe Mauer's-On-A-Stick. They were the perfect addition to the goodie bags).
Thanks to all who came and celebrated with us! T had a super fun time (as did we)!
And with this post - I am officially CAUGHT UP!!!! Thanks for sticking with me!
