A Windy City Christmas

Hey people! T here. Well, we returned from our Christmas in Chicago a couple of days ago and now we're already packing our bags again to head north for another round of festivities in Fergus Falls. But before we head out, I thought it would be a good idea to fill you in on all that took place during our week's stay at Pake and Beppe's house. Let me start by saying......it was a blast! We had a ton of fun and kept ourselves pretty busy. Here's a glimpse at some of the activities that filled our days.......

Z finally got to meet her Aunties Erin and Amy, as well as her Uncle Curt and cousins G1 and G2.We went bowling. We made a gingerbread houseand baked Christmas cookies. Some of the big girls (i.e., Beppe, Mommy and her sisters) fixed a puzzle (a Christmas vacation tradition for the ladies). We all got a chance to play Pake and Beppe's new Wii (aren't they so hip for having one).We of course went to church on Christmas Eve which was followed by the opening of gifts. We received some funky new matching PJ's from Auntie E
as well as some pretty memorable and unique hats from Pake and Beppe.

We also got a lot of snow which provided for quite a bit of wintry fun including sledding, the building of a giant Frostyand the construction of a great snow tunnel/fort.
Throw in a lot of tasty home cooked meals and a truckload of playtime and it was the perfect recipe for some great family fun! Thanks for a great week, Pake and Beppe! We miss you already!

Great pictures! G1's favorite is the funny photo of her bowling. She thinks she is showing off her muscles! We had lots of laughs remembering all the fun times.
