Though the trees are quickly becoming bare and the calendar says it is November, we are enjoying late spring/early summer like weather. Our high has reached into the 70s for the second or third day in a row and we are LOVING it! Yesterday, I put aside our list of errands that "needed" to be run in exchange for.....a walk to the park with friends
a picnic lunch on the deck 
and some more play time in the backyard.
Today was much of the same, though before heading to the park this morning, we first made a stop to vote (T was perplexed as to why we were in a gym in which there was no basketball game going on but was also impressed with the big USA flag in the center of the room). As is so often true, all good things must come to an end and it seems that this last splash of warmth will be leaving us sometime on Thursday or Friday. The predicted highs for Friday and Saturday are right around 40 degrees with a chance of snow. All this to say that the last few days have been quite a treat indeed!
