and he's MUCH TOO BIG!!! Last evening when I was putting some laundry away in the nursery, T sauntered in and asked if he could get in the crib. He had a grand time playing with the mobile, cuddling the Teddy and Baby that are awaiting LLL (Little Lady Levang) and even pretending to sleep. He got a little rowdy with the mobile - it became more of a punching bag - so his stint in the crib got cut a bit short :)
A quick story about the cuddly items you see in the crib: the pink Teddy was a gift from Pake and Beppe after we found out we were having a girl and the little doll was a gift from the Crane's......most specifically my niece, G1. You see, G1, has a little doll just like the one that she gave to us who is appropriately named, "Baby". It has been her constant companion since she was a newborn - the equivalent of T's Blue Dog. As any smart Mom would do, my sister, Amy, had a back up "Baby" stored in her closet in case the original should ever go missing. Some time ago, G1 discovered "Back Up Baby" who has never had to be called into active duty. As G1 is now the mature age of 5, she decided that she probably does not need a "Back Up Baby" anymore (don't fret - the original Baby is still being well loved) and she preciously offered her back up to her new cousin. So sweet! Thanks, G1! I am sure LLL will love her!
