A Slight Miscommunication

Last night as we were putting our little T down for bed, he made the common request for something to drink. I (Michael) headed out to the kitchen to get a small amount of water as to not fill his little bladder right before bed.
Upon delivery, I got another common reaction from an overly tired 2 year old who wanted something other than water. "I wanted APPLE JUUUIICCEE!!!"

It was time to lay down the Law! Mom quickly told T how it was going to be. "T... it is either water or 'nothin'."

T quickly calmed and responded, "I'll have a muffin."

Needless to say, he didn't get apple juice or a muffin.

I vote for "what you hear is what you get"! G would have given him a muffin, a story, water, and "stay up late, if you want!" - Just kiddin! Love you, G & G
