Summer KickOff Recap

Hey people! T here. So we've just started our third official week of summer vacation and so far things have been hoppin'! Here's a brief recap of the highlights!Week 1: Celebrated Grandpa and Grandma's 40th wedding anniversary; Daddy took a trip to Colorado and climbed two more 14ers (that's a whole other post); I started potty training; We all helped Uncle Henrik, Auntie Carrie, E and N move to Alexandria. Whew! What a week!

Week 2: Daddy started teaching summer school; I continued my big boy potty quest and also started swimming lessons with Mommy at the big pool at Daddy's school; Mommy and Daddy celebrated their 7th anniversary; Had some super fun play dates with Nathan and Edon at the sprinkler park and the swimming pool/water park; Officially moved into my new bedroom downstairs (will post pics of my new digs later); Daddy took the youth group to the Boundary Waters; Pake and Beppe came for the weekend and kept Mommy and me company. Great fun!

Week 3: Well, it's only just begun but here's what the week has in store.....More swimming lessons, more time on the potty, more summer school for Daddy, another trip to the swimming/water park with my buddies, the painting of the baby's room and a trip to Chicago to celebrate the 4th!

So, there you have it! That's what we have been up to so far this summer vacation. Here's some pics of me and Daddy from tonight. We were cleaning up all the tents that went on the Boundary Waters Adventure this past weekend. It's great to have him home!
