Spring Break Recap

Hey people! T here. I know we've been away from the blogging world for a wee bit but we have been trying to get back into the swing of things following our spring break. It was great to have a whole week at home with mom and dad. And what was even more awesome was that we had some fun visitors at our house, too! On Thursday, my Auntie A and cousins G1 and G2 flew in from WV. I hadn't seen them since November so I was super excited! And if this weren't enough, my Pake and Beppe came that same day from Chicago! WooHoo!! On Friday morning, we loaded up the van and headed to Iowa to visit my great-grandma Sue and great-grandma G. It was quite the ride with all of us. Mom, G1 and I rode in the backseat and we named ourselves the Backseat Gang!Things got a little crazy in the backseat at times, but we made it safe and sound to the great state of IA.Although we only stayed in Iowa one night, we had a great time catching up with the Greats. G2 especially got a kick out of Grandma Sue's "cart".We got home from Iowa late Saturday night and because our house is not quite roomy enough to accommodate so many visitors, Pake and Beppe stayed at a hotel near our house. As it turns out, this hotel has an AWESOME swimming area so we spent a lot of time splashing on Sunday. G2 and I checked out the joint from the balcony of Pake and Beppe's suite.Everything looked really sweet so we headed out for some water fun! First we splashed around in the kids' area.Then Daddy and I hit the big pool where we shot some hoops. It was great!After a busy day of swimming, we kicked back and relaxed in Pake and Beppe's room and enjoyed some pizza for supper.It was a fabulous weekend! Thanks to everybody for coming and spending time with us!
