Good Grief.

So, just one week ago you may remember that T and I were enjoying splashing in the puddles of spring. Well, it seems our splashing days are far from over. This morning we woke up to see a fresh batch of winter sprawled, well, everywhere. (If you think you are picking up on a slight tone of disgust in my voice, you are correct). The timing of the storm's arrival, coupled with the volume of white stuff and the wind that was blowing would have equaled a snow day for sure....except that today happens to be the first day of our SPRING break. Oh, the irony of it all. So, anyway, we decided to pretend as if it were a snow day for the first part of the morning...somehow that makes all of the white outside more fun. T cozied up in our bed and watched one of his favorite flicks on the portable DVD player.
About mid-morning, we ventured outside to make a necessary run to Target and Sam's Club. When we returned, Michael and T attacked the driveway. After clearing our driveway, as well as our neighbor's (T pittered out midway through the clearing of ours), Michael concluded that we probably received about an 8-inch dose of dander. I guess we'll just look forward to its melting when we can once again frolick in the puddles.

I had to laugh at our common use of the word irony!!! (you'll know what I mean when you see our post from today!)

Hope it melts fast - right?
