As mentioned previously, during Auntie Erin and Beppe's visit, we took the youth group bowling and our house guests eagerly tagged along. It was T's first trip to a "real" bowling alley (he has a play set at home) and when the evening was through he was asking for more. To kick off the night, T first had to get the appropriate gear - #1 The cutest little bowling shoes I've ever seen (I had no idea they actually made them in toddler sizes),

and #2 - A bowling ball sized for an almost 2 1/2 year old. T's bowling ball weighed in at a whopping 6 pounds and he insisted on carrying it himself.

Initially, T rolled the ball down the lane "granny style",

but after some pretty slow moving frames, we thankfully accepted the offer from the friendly bowling staff to try out the "slide".

Now we were crackin'! T enjoyed a few victory dances after some successful turns,

but he also enjoyed taking a break with Beppe and just observed the rest of the action.

At the end of the night, he ended with a respectable score of 71 (bumper assisted). It was definitely a fun night!

Great job, T, you look like a pro!
Oh, so cute! The bowling shoes are darling! We agree with Edon's comment - let's get together for a little boys' bowling party!
