This past weekend I had the great privilege of traveling to The Wilderness on the Lake in the Wisconsin Dells with some of my dearest girlfriends. There are actually nine girls in the GW Club, all of who became close friends during our days at UND. Since our graduations, we have made an effort to get together one weekend every year, just the girls. In the beginning, it was relatively easy, but now that we are living in six different states, literally spread out from the west coast to the east coast, getting together takes a bit more effort. However, we are committed to our time together and I am so thankful for that. This year, seven of us were able to make the journey (we missed you Noelle and Heather) and we enjoyed a fabulous weekend of talking, laughing, sharing, praying, shopping, eating, playing in the water park and just relaxing. Girls Weekend is one of the highlights of my year and I am so thankful for these women that God has blessed me with. Thanks for a great time, ladies. Here's to GW '09!
