Hey people! T here. Wow! What a weekend I have had. I'm going to attempt to fill my mom shoes and give you an update but I think it might be tough. She's got some big boots to fill.

Anyway, I'll give it a try. On Friday night, Daddy took Mama out on a date. I don't know exactly what those are but what it meant for me was a night at my buddies', E and N's, house. I didn't have the camera with me so I don't have any pictures to show you but you can get the low down on all the fun by clicking
here. Just look for the "Jammin' in our Jammies" entry.

On Saturday, I helped my Mama out by assisting her in the frosting of some Christmas cookies. The cookies were for a big party that we had at our church last night. But I'll get to that in a minute.....let's first get back to the cookies. After each tree was frosted, it was my job to add some sprinkles. It was very important work.

My philosophy for the job was, "The more sprinkles, the better!" Take a look at one of my finished products.

I got to sample "just one" of the Christmas treats before the party. I don't mean to toot my own horn, but they were DELICIOUS!

My Mama wondered what possessed her to give me green frosting right after a bath. I'm not sure what she meant by that.....I thought I looked just dandy!

OK, now on to the party! First, we had to set up for the big event with all of the big kids at church. I actually took a little snooze on my Moons and Stars bed in the nursery while most of the set-up took place. When I woke up, it was go time! Mama got me all dressed up. She said I looked very handsome, like Daddy. I told her I thought I looked "awesome".

Next it was time for the big show! Do you know what? I got to stand up on the stage at church with a whole bunch of kids and sing songs about Jesus! It was great! My Mama and Daddy said they were so proud of me. You see, last week at practice, I got a little scared and started crying halfway through rehearsal. Then yesterday afternoon during the practice, I didn't even want to stand up on the stage. BUT, when it came time for the real thing, I was ready to go! I stood up there the
whole time and I even sang along when I knew the words.

My most favorite number was a song called, "Away In The Manger." Maybe you know it?! If you do, then you know it's a great little song about the night Baby Jesus was born. He was just a little guy back then and when his Mama gave birth to him, she rocked him real gentle,

and then he laid down his sweet head and took a little rest.

Like I said, it's a really great song. Daddy even took video of my Sunday School class singing it, but I don't know how to get that on the computer so I'll have to wait for some help with that project. Stay tuned! After the program, the big kids in our youth group served up a nice tasty meal for everybody: ham, mashed potatoes, rolls, salad AND, yep, you guessed it, lots of cookies and other tasty Christmas treats. My trees were a huge success! It was truly a night to remember!!
