T is for Two

A great big Happy Birthday to our precious T who turned TWO today! Here's a peek at his big day from his perspective.....

Hey people! So, I'm two today and I am loving it! My day has been busy! First, when I woke up, there was a wonderful surprise waiting for me. My Pake and Beppe were at my house! Apparently they arrived after I went to bed last night. Boy, was I excited to see them. Then, my mama made me a special birthday breakfast. Waffles! My favorite!

This tasty treat was followed by many more yummy snacks as we headed off to the Great Minnesota Get Together. While we waited for our bus that would take us to the party, I made sure I was well hydrated. My Pake entertained me on the ride.

I arrived at the Fair with a few thousand of my closest friends and immediately spotted this wonderful stand. Flags on a Stick. Perfect!

It seems that this grand event is mostly about food. Here's a look at all of the items I sampled today. First, I spotted another sign about something on a stick, but this time it was not a flag but a dog. I was a bit alarmed by the idea of a dog on a stick until my Pake bought one and shared it with me. They were tasty!

My dad enjoyed a HUGE turkey leg (I had a few bites, too) and we all had a great time nibbling on some really great corn on the cob.

I also sampled some fresh cut french fries. They were "fairly" awesome!

On the sweeter side of things, I downed some mini donuts and a tasty ice cream cone.

Now, I know what you're thinking. Did all this kid do at the fair was eat? Well, the answer is NO! I also saw a whole lot of cool animals. These two sheep looked a little suspicious if you ask me and this ginormous swine was a little "boaring".

However, this particular horse was a mare after my own heart (her stall was decked out in stars) and the cute little fuzzballs that you see below were some pretty cool quackers.

My trip to the fair was spectacular and rumor has it that we are going back again later this weekend. Wow!

The fun didn't end when we left the fair either. After a nap and some supper, I opened a few presents from my mama and daddy. I got some amazing new flags, some more parts for my train set and some rockin' bongo drums.

And the party isn't over! We're having an All American birthday shibang tomorrow with some family and friends. Turning TWO is spectacular! Stay tuned.....
