Construction Continues

Today saw the continuation of what I like to call, "Project Playset". Over the past week, M has been working on cutting boards and assembling pieces together in the garage. But today, the structure was at a point where it needed to make its transition to the backyard. After lending my muscle power to the task, the major components were in place and building could continue. Then, with T's help.....
MEASURING,

SELECTING SCREWS,

AND TIGHTENING BOLTS,
the playset really started to take shape. Unfortunately, the roof (which was assembled in the garage) posed to be too big a feat even for my manly muscles. So, construction came to a slight halt. Fortunately, our good friend, John D was able to stop by and help M "raise the roof". This all occurred while T and I were eating supper. When our meal was complete and T looked out the window to check on the progress, he only had one word to express his delight...

WOW!!
"Project Playset" will continue tomorrow, weather pending.

Looks like fun - thanks for the info yesterday S - A actually got a playground that now has to be assembled this weekend just like yours...so E began the board cutting this afternoon. Can't wait to see your finished product.
