Taste of Summer

With a record high of 81 degrees today, we seem to have catapulted right from spring into summer. T's little white legs saw the sun for the first time in months. They loved it! But alas, it is only March, so my realistic self (as well as our friendly meterologist) tells me these warm temps are not here to stay. Not just yet. As such, we made an extra effort to get outside and enjoy the sunshine as much as possible. T was particularly fond of the bubbles during our stint outdoors. He tries with all his might to blow through the wand and on occasion, is successful at actually creating a bubble. His effort and concentration are admirable.

Here's "The Dip".

Followed by "The Exhale."

And they're off!

Look at all the bubbles!

The Bubble Tamer

T even got to enjoy a little snack out on the patio. The picnic table was a very generous gift from our neighbors across the street.

So, today's little taste of summer was a great glimpse of things to come. Only 47 more days to go. But then, who's counting?
